Lucas is getting ready for his 3rd Halloween. This year he is going to be dressed up as a leopard. He has been running around the house in his costume for days!
Alyssa is in high school this year and is doing very well. So far, she has all A's and B's. Way to go Alyssa!
Laurie continues to work hard running her business and keeping the house together. Her foot is going to need another operation in January 2002 but we are optomistic that after this operation it will be all fixed up. (as best as it can be.)
Brian was elected President of the astronomy club and has been kept very busy running tours, planning events and going to meetings.

Brian's grandparents are Robert & Noreen (Mellish) Battersby, his parents are Richard & Nancy (Cooper) Battersby, his aunt is Judy Hagel, and his brothers are Tim and Mark Battersby.
Laurie's grandparents are Olaf & Laura (McLean) Hicks, her parents are Doug & Marjorie Hicks, her uncles are Kevin, John and Jerry Hicks, her aunts are Clarice Campbell, Joan Pawluk and Grace Ludlow, and her brother is Kirk Hicks.

Brian's grandparents are Howard Cooper & Jewel Perkins and his uncles are Dan & Bill Cooper.
Laurie's grandparents are Judson & Annie McKinley, her aunts are Jean Scholar, Garda Schoales, and Sharon St. Pierre.
